Pickup & preorder FAQ
▸How does a preorder work?
Add plants to your cart, choose a pickup Saturday, and pay online through Stripe. Your plants are reserved for you as soon as payment completes, and you get an emailed receipt with pickup details.
▸Where is pickup?
At the farm in Mead, Oklahoma. The exact address and directions are in your confirmation email. We do not ship live plants.
▸What if I can't make my pickup window?
Email ellen@foxgullyfarm.com before your window and we will move you to another Saturday in the same season. Orders not collected by the end of the season are treated as a donation to the farm.
▸Why can I only order one season at a time?
Spring starts, fall starts and eggs are ready at different times and picked up on different days. Keeping each order to one season keeps your pickup simple and our records clean.
▸When is spring pickup?
Spring starts and perennials are ready in April, after Bryan County's usual last frost. Pickup windows are listed in the cart.
▸What size are the plants?
Vegetable, herb and flower starts come in 4-inch pots, ready to transplant. Perennials and lavender come in quart pots with established roots.
▸What if something dies?
If a plant fails within two weeks of pickup despite reasonable care, email us a photo and we will replace it or refund it while supplies last.
▸Are you organic?
We are not certified organic. We use organic growing media, avoid synthetic pesticides in the propagation house, and will always tell you exactly what a plant was given.
▸How do eggs work?
Eggs are limited by what the flock lays each week. Preorder a dozen and we will email you to arrange a pickup time.
▸Can I pay at pickup?
Presales are paid online so we can reserve plants fairly. Any extra plants available on pickup day can be bought at the farm stand.
